Congratulations to Frisco! On April of 2008 Frisco reached 100,000 residents. Frisco is the newest most spectacular city in North Texas. Visit the Stonebriar Mall and plan on spending the entire day. It features the entire gamut of stores and shops, movie theatre, restaurants and an ice rink. Frisco is the model city that was built with the utmost planning and due diligence. Plano’s city manager was lured to Frisco when it was in its embryonic stages to lead the city into the new millennium. The city leaders knew being in the “Preston Road Growth Corridor”, they needed the best minds available to develop the city to its fullest potential. Just one visit and you’ll agree. Frisco was built right! The infrastructure has anything and everything you could ever imagine having. Frisco is home to the Dallas Side Kicks soccer team and the semi-pro Frisco Roughriders baseball team. The ballpark is awesome. It was designed the way baseball was intended to be enjoyed. Golf courses, country clubs, entertainment, activity centers, and parks are numerous. You’ll never have to leave Frisco. It has it all!
The distance to DFW airport is fairly short, a mere 30 minute drive which makes it extremely convenient for the business traveler. Frisco has room for tripling its size to 350,000 residents. But don’t worry about over crowding; it has 69 square miles of land for total development. In 1990 Frisco had 6,141 residents it now has over 100,000!! Frisco is growing rapidly with businesses from all over the world making Frisco their new headquarters. Needless to say, the school system is stellar and is very highly ranked nationally.
Several magazines, including Dallas Child have awarded Frisco “The Best Family Friendly City”. Come see this spectacular city. You’ll love it here!
